The Riga – Jurmala Music Festival takes place over four weekends throughout July, August and September.
Concerts taking place in the historic cities of Riga – at the Latvian National Opera, the Great Guild, and in Jurmala – the Great and Small Halls of the Dzintari Concert Hall.
At the centre of each weekend will be two symphonic orchestra concerts, solo concerts and morning concerts featuring rising musical stars.

Taking place every year at Salacgriva Fishermen’s Park, this year it will be held on 26 and 27 of July. Positivus Festival is the largest music and arts festival in the Baltic States, offering its visitors a wide array of great performers, plenty of entertainment options, lively atmosphere and an unforgettable experience overall.
Foreign media constantly highlight Positivus Festival mainly because of its light and friendly atmosphere, Salacgriva wonderful nature, as well as absolutely great music.
Positivus Festival has been awarded the title “Best European Festival”, beating such festivals as Roch Werchter, Roskilde Festival and the Spanish Benicassim.

From 16 – 18 of August during Riga City Festival for three days the city is filled with festive atmosphere, live music, and plenty of activities and entertainment. The contemporary art forum “White Night” – taking place on 7 of September this, one of a kind, festival presents wide spectrum of art, theatre, music, movement and other art projects and performances. “White Night” is part of the joint “European White Nights” project by Brussels, Madrid, Paris, Riga and Rome.
